Boating Facility Grants

Recreational Harbor Evaluation Program - Application deadline is April 1. You must use the revised packet (PDF [80K] or MSWord [458K]). For more information, contact Phil Miller, 614-265-6497.

Recreational Marine Loan Program - This program is available to any privately owned marina planning a project that serves the boating public. Applications are accepted at any time. Boating Infrastructure Grant Program (BIG Program) - For the construction of transient mooring facilities for recreational boats 26' and over in length. Application deadline is August 1.

Clean Vessel Act Grant - For construction and renovation of waste reception facilities for recreational vessels. Application deadline is October 1.

Boating Safety Education Grant

Deadline for 2009 grants was October 24, 2008. Navigational Aids Grant Program

Buoys and signs to mark Ohio's waterways can be provided to political subdivisions at no charge. Application deadline is November 1. You must use the revised packet (PDF [86K] or MSWord [237K]).
